We're seeking an experienced Outbound Logistics Manager with outstanding leadership skills and a strong operational mindset to lead an outbound operations. In this critical role, you'll be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate order fulfillment while optimizing processes, managing a high-performing team, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
What You'll Be Responsible For Operations Management
Lead all outbound logistics functions including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping
Ensure on-time, accurate delivery of outbound shipments
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
Drive cost savings and process optimization initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and customer service teams to streamline operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Address and resolve shipping-related issues quickly and professionally
Technology & Compliance
Utilize logistics software and automation tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and transportation regulations
Conduct audits and inspections to uphold operational and legal standards
Team Leadership
Lead, train, and develop a team of supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse staff
Cultivate a high-performance, collaborative team culture
Implement training programs that ensure staff compliance and continuous growth
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
5-8 years' experience in outbound logistics management
Required Competencies:
Proven experience managing outbound logistics operations in a fast-paced environment
In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, order fulfillment, and distribution
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
Proficiency in logistics software, WMS, and TMS
Knowledge of industry regulations, including health, safety, and transportation standards
