Working hours:

If working in the baby centre: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00


If working in the 1 - 2 year old class: 3 days a week from 07:00 - 17:30 and 2 days a week from 07:00 - 13:30

School holiday hours:

Certain holidays are required - we work on a staff rotation


A preschool in Olivedale is looking for a qualified ECD TEACHER either for their baby centre OR 1 - 2 year old class

Area:

Olivedale

Children's Ages:

Baby Centre OR 1 - 2 years old (Candidate will be placed within the age group of where their expertise lies)

Working hours:

Duties:

Full duties of an ECD Teacher including but not limited to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports early development. Their duties include supervising children at all times, planning age appropriate activities that encourage sensory, social, emotional, language, and motor development, and assisting with daily routines such as feeding, toileting, and rest time. They also observe and track each child's progress, promote positive behaviour and gentle guidance, maintain open communication with parents, and ensure that health, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently upheld.

Special Requirements:

ECD Qualified teacher. Huge advantage to have First Aid and/or Baby CPR.

Start Date and contract term:

ASAP - permanent

Salary:

R17 000 per month (Gross, before deductions)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
