This is an Independent Contractor role which can be done remotely as per the needs of our students as we are a Distance Learning College based in Stellenbosch

The correct salary is:

R71,00 for scripts with a mark count of 100 - 199.

R83,00 for scripts with a mark count of 200 - 299.

R102.00 for scripts with a mark count of 300 - 399

1. ROLE AS FOLLOWS:

1.1 To mark and comment on student scripts as requested by Oxbridge, at the agreed remuneration per script, and also at the request of Oxbridge to contact specified students in order to answer queries and to keep full and proper records of such activities in accordance with the terms and conditions appearing herein and in the Assessment Policy and Procedure as amended from time to time.

1.2 The External Assessor may at any time be requested by a competent employee appointed by and at the sole discretion of Oxbridge to remark a script or number of scripts for no additional remuneration if, in the opinion of such employee, the script or scripts have not been marked in accordance with either the spirit of, or the procedures set out in the Assessment Policy and Procedure;

1.3 Process regarding student queries:

Student requests or enquiries on the following:

Textbook or Study Guide contents Assignment Questionnaire contents

On receipt, the External Assessor must attend to the query

ASAP

and must reply within 24 hours during weekdays.

1.4 Reviewing of Assignment Questionnaires and Assignment Memorandums: All Textbook, Study guides, Assignment Questionnaires, Assignment Memos must be reviewed by the Tutor on a regular basis. All requested assessment amendments must be made it specified timeframe set out by Academic Manager. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to the Academic Manager.

1.5 The External Assessor must notify the Academic Manager before going on leave and submit all assessments(assessed). Any late assignments and unmarked will be deemed as a breach of contract.

Qualifications and Professional Bodies - All criteria's must be met

Completed a recognized course in

Bachelors Degree in ECD

Currently practicing in the

ECD

field.

ECD SETA registered assessors will only be looked at

Facilitators of learning must have a proven track record of at least three years of practical experience within the

ECD

industry.

Facilitators must be registered with the appropriate

SETA and show the SETA number.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: R5000,00 - R6000,00 per month
