Tekkie Town is seeking to employ an E-Commerce Lead who is responsible for driving the overall strategy, performance, and growth of online sales channels. This role oversees all aspects of the E-Commerce operation, from website user experience and digital marketing to online sales targets, ensuring a seamless and profitable online shopping experience that aligns with the broader business objectives. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Systems, E-commerce, or a related field
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in E-Commerce, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
Proven track record of driving significant online revenue growth and improving key e-commerce metrics.
Extensive experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, WooCommerce, Stock to Shop)
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing, Content Marketing).
Deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, trends, and technologies.
Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and data interpretation.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and execution across various channels.
Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Familiarity with inventory management systems, payment gateways, and logistics solutions.
Knowledge of IT systems and website development processes related to E-Commerce.
Understanding of consumer behaviour and purchasing psychology, especially in the online retail space.
