Duties:

Infant care - supporting development milestones like helping baby sit, crawl, walk under family guidance. Daily routine - helping with meals, nap times, bathing time, playtimes, packing our and in of toys (keeping play area neat). Creative and active play - engaging baby through games, craft and activities that build imagination and fine motor skills. Baby focused errands - changing diapers, changing clothes, sterilising and cleaning bottles, preparing bottles, putting baby to sleep for nap times. Occasional babysitting.

Requirements:

Age: 25 - 35, Experience: 3-5 years, Childcare experience (specifically infant support and care). First Aid/CPR, Driver's license. ECD Qualification or similar. Proficient in Afrikaans and English and a non-smoker.

Start date:

01 February 2026 - Permanent role

Salary:

R18000 - R2000 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km (salary dependent on experience and qualifications)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
