As a DTP/Finish artist, you will be responsible for adapting and rolling out various campaign assets for social media, web, out of home and retail according to specified brand and campaign guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adaptation of supplied creative for a range of print and digital materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, newsletters, advertisements, presentations, social media graphics, and other marketing collateral.
• A good understanding of typography and visual hierarchy: Apply your understanding of typography principles, font pairing, and visual hierarchy to create balanced and readable layouts that enhance the message and overall visual appeal.
• Branding and Style Consistency: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines, colours, fonts, and visual elements across all materials, maintaining a cohesive and recognizable brand identity.
• Image Editing and Enhancement: Utilise image editing software to retouch, manipulate,and enhance visuals for optimal quality and impact within the design layouts.
• Prepress and Print Production: Prepare print-ready files, ensuring correct colour profiles, resolution, bleed, and trim marks, and collaborate with print vendors to ensure accurate and high-quality output.
• Digital Publishing: Adapt and optimize designs for digital platforms, including websites, social media, and email marketing, ensuring responsive and engaging layouts that align with the digital medium's requirements.
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough proofreading and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and error-free deliverables before final production or distribution.
• Software and Technology Proficiency: Stay up-to-date with the latest design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant DTP software, and leverage their functionalities to enhance design efficiency and quality.
• Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality design work.
• Be able to work accurately and track time accordingly for daily completion of time sheets.

Qualifications

Adobe Creative Suite:

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Figma
• 3-5 year's experience as a DTP/Finish Artist
• An up to date portfolio showcasing active brand experience
• Advertising agency experience advantageous
• Be willing to assist team members and work overtime when required
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have experience working in a fast-paced agency environment; be able to respond and adapt quickly
• Have strong time management and self-management skills
• Have a positive attitude and be a team player - reliability is key!
