Matric, Diploma or similar in graphic design/DTP preferable (Please attach all qualifications)
3 years relevant experience in DTP/publishing environment
Full Adobe Suite and in-depth knowledge of DTP editorial software
Advanced experience on In-Design and Photoshop, intermediate Illustrator and Dreamweaver
Hubspot or other bulk mailer CRM experience will be beneficial
Knowledge of XML, HTML, JSON and data structures preferable
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Package
Strong, accurate layout design skills with an interest in the betting industry, a keen focus on stylistic nuances
Able to follow a design/layout brief closely through to completion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task, organised and detail oriented
Ability to prioritise work and interact well within a team and independently
Ability to work well under pressure in a hybrid environment at a good pace with minimal supervision
Must exhibit extensive initiative and actively participate in identifying needed improvements and/or problem-solving
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Adaptable and possess a willingness to learn new skills
Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations under strict deadlines
Job Functionalities:
Ensure timeous compilation and production of all 4Racing publications and race cards
Perform electronic import and export of data
Handle and disseminate data to various local and international clients including data support for TAB and Betontab
Provide support and assistance to international clients
Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and be flexibility to work in order to meet strategic operational goals of the division i.e. noon to early evening or late afternoon into the night on weekdays and weekends on a rotational basis
Must be able to work on a rotational basis with other members of the production team as and when required
Assist with projects from time to time
Assist with general ad-hoc in line with operational requirements
