Job Summary Key Responsibilities:

• Desktop Publishing (DTP):

• Utilize desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create and design graphics and layouts for sublimation products.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual designs align with project requirements.
• Format and typeset graphics and text elements for sublimation printing.
• Edit and proofread content for accuracy and consistency.
• Complete design projects within established deadlines.
• Sublimation Printing:

• Operate sublimation printing equipment and ensure it is properly set up and calibrated.
• Select and load sublimation materials, such as paper and ink, as per product specifications.
• Adjust printing parameters to achieve optimal results, including color vibrancy and image clarity.
• Monitor the printing process to maintain quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on sublimation printers.
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule and prioritize print jobs.
• Conduct quality checks on sublimated products to ensure they meet design and quality standards.
• File Management:

• Organize and maintain digital files for sublimation projects.
• Prepare and convert files to the required formats for sublimation printing.
• Quality Control:

• Inspect sublimated products for defects, color accuracy, and overall quality.
• Make adjustments to printing equipment and processes to address quality issues.
• Ensure that sublimated products meet industry and company quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Tertiary education in graphic design, desktop publishing, or sublimation printing are a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated experience operating sublimation printing equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of sublimation printing techniques, materials, and processes.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight production deadlines.

Salary: R12 000 - R16 000 + Benefits
