Job Title: Driver - Code 10

Location: KZN, Based at Ballito. Will drive throughout KZN.

Job Type: Full-Time/Permanent

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible driver to join Mangwanani North Coast - Head Office in Ballito. The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees, clients, and spa supplies, while also performing various daily tasks as required. The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license (code 10), updated and valid PDP, a clean driving record, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation:

Safely and responsibly operate company vehicles, ensuring the safety of passengers and cargo.

Provide transportation to employees , stock, laundry etc.

Maintain a neat and clean vehicle interior and exterior.

Delivery and Pick-Up:

Pick up and deliver spa supplies, equipment, and laundry as assigned.

Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to designated locations.

Verify the condition and quantity of goods before and after delivery.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance checks on company vehicles, including checking oil, tires, brakes, and fluid levels.

Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.

Keep track of receipts and expenses related to vehicle use.

Compliance:

Comply with all traffic laws and regulations.

Ensure the vehicle is properly registered, licensed, and insured always.

Maintain a clean driving record.

Follow safety procedures and protocols when handling goods, clients, and the vehicle.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with the spa company management and colleagues regarding transportation schedules and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license (Code 10 or equivalent) with a clean driving record.

Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a corporate or service-oriented environment.

Good knowledge of the KwaZulu Natal province road network.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

Strong time management skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads when loading and unloading supplies.

Good vision and hearing for safe driving.

Additional Information:

This position may require working flexible hours, including weekends public holidays and evenings, to accommodate spa business needs.

The Driver may be required to run errands and perform additional duties as assigned by the procurement manager.
