Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure the timely and accurate picking of customer orders from the designated storage areas and the safe and efficient delivery of goods to designated locations and areas, while maintaining excellent customer service and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking Duties:

Accurately pick products according to orders digital systems. Prepare and package items for delivery or dispatch. Perform quality checks to ensure correct items and quantities are selected. Assist with stock rotation and inventory control. Keep picking and storage areas clean and organized.

Driving Duties:

Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver or collect goods from customers, suppliers, and branches. Plan routes efficiently and follow delivery schedules. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items. Obtain delivery confirmations, signatures, and necessary documentation. Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure) and report maintenance needs.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license

with a clean driving record.

Proven experience

in a delivery or warehouse role preferred.

Physically fit

- ability to lift and move items as needed.

Attention to detail

for accurate picking and checking of orders. Basic literacy and numeracy skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Familiarity with delivery routes and warehouse practices is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

May involve long hours, early mornings, and weekend work. (7am to 5pm weekdays & 9 to 1pm Saturdays) Work in Meat Factory environments and on the road. Requires physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
