Introduction
A Sheet Metal Manufacturing company in Pretoria West is seeking a Draughtsman for an immediate start.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret various drawings and convert them into Solidworks designs.
- Manage assignments and communicate tasks to the CAD team.
- Attend and contribute to Production meetings.
- Create detailed drawings in Solidworks based on specifications.
- Perform quality checks on completed designs.
- Prepare data packages and cutting files.
- Understand and apply bending, laser cutting, machining, and welding processes.
- Use measuring tools effectively.
- Collaborate with the quality department.
- Identify components in relation to drawings and make necessary adjustments.
- Matric with Technical Drawing as a subject.
- Solidworks (Sheet Metal) and AutoCAD experience.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using measuring equipment like tape measures and verniers.
