Job Description
Job Summary
Reporting to the Group Chief Information Officer, the Divisional Manager: Service Strategy, Design &
Governance will manage the end-to-end process and ongoing development of strategy & governance,
enterprise architecture, process & improvement, research and development, and data analytics.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and manage the Divisional Strategy and Policies.
- Management of operations in the division
- Coordinate and manage the divisional budgetary process
- Formulate and/or periodically review the divisional Policies and Strategic Plan based on the current IT
- Manage Service Level Agreements and service provider performance.
- Compile divisional budget and manage expenditures
- Ensure effective management of human resources.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
- Post Graduate qualification in IT will be advantageous.
- The following relevant industry certifications will be advantageous:
Agile methodologies e.g., PMI-ACP; AgilePM; CPO; CEC; CDA
Enterprise & Systems Architecture e.g., TOGAF; COBIT
Minimum:
- Seven (7) years experience in a similar environment, minimum of three (3) years experience in Senior
Requisite Functional Competencies
- Computer Literacy (MS Office).
- Knowledge and experience in financial planning and forecasting.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act.
- Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance principles including relevant national and KZN
- Knowledge of risk management concepts, frameworks, and methodology.
- Technical knowledge of computer systems.
