Divisional Category Manager
to lead our sourcing and category management function at Head Office. This permanent role offers the opportunity to influence divisional strategy, manage complex portfolios, and lead a high-performing team, reporting directly to the Head of Procurement.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (NQF7) in Procurement or related field.
MCIPS/CIPS professional membership.
Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management.
Proven experience supervising procurement functions and managing complex portfolios.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute long-term category strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive performance improvements.
Lead cost management initiatives, risk mitigation, and benefits tracking.
Engage and influence divisional stakeholders through expert procurement advice.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sourcing team.
Champion procurement excellence, transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong negotiation, contract management, and project management skills.
Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
