Distribution/transport Coordinator (shift)
Job Description
Job Summary English-speaking Commercial Gr.12; MS Word/Excel/ MixTelematics/ DRM/ Roadshow; 3-5 years of experience in fleet utilisation/ fuel usage/ consumption/ planning loads cost-effectively/ managing a team of 40+ /administration/ prepare/ present daily/ monthly distribution reports/ RCA/ action plans/ with a food/ FMCG distributor or outsourced FMCG transporters. Keep accurate record of Driver's licences & PDPs/ ensure that planned Driver training/ key task assessment takes place/ constant communication with Drivers and weighbridge staff/ briefing and debriefing of Drivers. Support monitoring of daily/ weekly/ monthly deadlines/ ensure trucks leave site on time/ that tracking is done on own and outsourced vehicles/ coordinate & manage tracker/ control system/ report late/ non-deliveries/ monitor vehicles' kilometers & Service Plans with suppliers/ ensure vehicle inspections/ repair arrangements/ manage & ensure extended life of trucks. Work with electronic reports from outside suppliers/ recon diesel usage and calculations/ manage E-toll & Bankfin recons/ manage traffic fines & recover costs from responsible parties/ request purchase orders for dept./ track & control budget vs actual expenses/ report all issues timeously to Distribution Manager.
