There youll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless distribution operations while adhering to rigorous safety, environmental, and food safety standards, in addition to governance and risk protocols.

Being at the forefront of shaping distribution strategies to optimize costs and leverage cutting-edge industry technologies, youll need to have keen sense of innovation. Youll oversee distribution resources, orchestrating their efficient use to mitigate losses and enhance customer service levels. Taking charge of product loading and off-loading, youll drive the smooth flow of goods through the distribution pipeline.

Effective communication is your forte, as you engage with stakeholders across the spectrum. Your proficiency in fleet, crates, and driver management is essential, coupled with prior experience in warehouse management. Adeptness in navigating union dynamics is vital, given the environment youll operate in.

Your aptitude in despatch reconciliations and variance investigations will be complemented by financial and commercial management skills, including budgeting and cost control knowledge.

With a minimum of 5 years in FMCG distribution, including at least 3 years at a management level, your industry knowledge is your advantage.

Your solid educational foundation comprises a Matric qualification, while an additional tertiary degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will elevate your profile.
