Distribution Manager - BellvilleMy client, an established wheat manufacturer based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a Distribution Manager with a relevant degree and min 3 xe2x80x93 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role.The successful candidate will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for the distribution of the company's products.distribution manager|production manager|warehouse managementMain responsibilities:Warehouse Management:Storage ActivitiesHousekeepingFood and safetyMaintain building according to Audit standardsSecurityInventory Management:Stock managementSecurityOversee documentation (Invoices and Inventory)Transportation:Route planningLoading of vehiclesEnsure documentation is correctManage external transportersTraining of staffFleet Management:Vehicle maintenanceFuel managementOccupational Health and Safety (OHASA)Food SafetyStaff ManagementProcurement:Source and interview suppliers & negotiate agreements.Determine the lowest cost for products/materials without compromising quality.Purchase supply of products/material to fulfill operation requirement.Receive orders & document and sign off arrivals.Requirements:Relevant tertiary (B.Comm or similar) qualificationMin 3 xe2x80x93 5 years relevant experiencePrevious management experience essentialWilling to work / manage one weekend per month
