They are excited for a new Distribution Center Manager to join their Supply Chain and Logistics Team.

The main purpose of a Distribution Center Manager is to oversee and manage the operations of a distribution center, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, accurate inventory management, and timely delivery to customers. This role involves a combination of leadership, operational oversight, strategic planning, and collaboration to optimize the supply chain process.

The successful incumbent will report to the Head of Logistics & Supply Chain and will be responsible for Operational Efficiency, Inventory Management, Quality Control, Leadership (over 90 reports), Safety and Compliance, Cost Controls, Strategic Planning, Cost Saving Initiatives, Data Analysis and Continuous Improvement Strategies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Minimum BCom Degree in Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse management, transportation or logistics
• FMCG, Manufacturing, Automotive experience with full end-to-end Supply Chain experience (Non-Negotiable)
• Previous experience leading a large team (over 75 staff members)
• SAP experience advantageous
