Key performance areasManage Dispatch Staff Overtime and standby time.Ensure spend is in line with monthly budgets.Effective communication, tracking of performance and visibility of applicable KPI's.Conduct regular quality audits on processes and documentation within the operation.Handle customer complaints and daily query resolution.Ensure professional, accurate and timeous delivery of reports.Monitor the packing and stacking of pallets onto the trucks to minimise the damage to products.Manage HSSE/Risk in accordance with protocols to always ensure compliance.Incident management - qualitative reporting and meaningful counter measures.Ensure all staff files are up to date (Job description, ID, contact details, medicals, training etc.)Identify training and development needs for staff members.Ensure sufficient resources are in place to achieve daily targets for the Dispatch operationRegular performance appraisals for direct reports.Manage discipline in area of responsibility ensuring policies and procedures are always followed.Nature of positionWarehouse SupervisionDesired Experience & QualificationDiploma in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.At least 2 years continuous improvement experience in a warehouseAt Least 3 years relevant supervisory experience. Skills and experience required.Experience in quality managementKnowledge and application of innovative and cost business approachExperience in enforcing of organisational management systems, policies and proceduresDecision-making, problem-solving, creativity.Analytical skills, attention to detail.Ability to interact at a high level with clients, senior management and authorities.Ability to work in a team environment.Computer literacy in SAP, MS Office with Excel proficiency skills.
