Dispatch/ Shipments Controller

Job Description

Candidate Key Performance Outputs
Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch operations.
Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipping details and any issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
Monitor transportation costs and optimize logistics processes.
Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods.
Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
Candidate Requirements/Experience
Grade 12 or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in logistics, dispatch, or a related role.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
