Job Description
CORE PURPOSE OF JOB
The main purpose of the job is to direct and oversee the universitys safety and security division by administering and maintaining policies to assure the safety of property, assets, and people in all university campuses.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Strategy Development, Implementation and Review
- Transformational leadership to the Safety and Security Portfolio
- Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Centricity
- People Management
- Financial management and resource stewardship
- Security Governance, Risk Management and Monitoring and evaluation
- Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Justice, Security and Law Enforcement
- Post Grad Qualification in Management
- SAP Clearance (Top Level preferably)
- Driving Licence
- PSIRA Grade A
- SHEQ Qualification will be advantageous
- 5 7 years experience in security, investigations, or related field
- 5 - 7 years experience in a management role leading security teams.
