Job Description

The Director of Sales will take full responsibility for driving the brand's commercial strategy across multiple high-end properties. This role requires a dynamic, results-driven professional with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to translate market insight into impactful sales performance. You will work closely with senior executives to grow the brand's presence, develop new business opportunities, and deliver exceptional experiences for global clients.



Key Responsibilities:



Develop and implement sales strategies across key markets to maximize revenue and market share.



Identify and secure new business opportunities within the luxury leisure, MICE, and corporate travel sectors.



Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with high-end travel trade partners, agencies, and corporate clients.



Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve ambitious targets.



Conduct regular market analysis, forecasting, and reporting to inform strategic decisions.



Represent the brand at trade shows, networking events, and international sales missions.



Collaborate with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to ensure aligned brand messaging and performance.

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior sales or commercial leadership role within the luxury hotel, resort, or lodge industry .



Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, or Business Administration .



Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets in international markets.



Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.



Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.



Proficiency in CRM and hotel sales systems.



Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.



Based in Cape Town; office-based with flexibility.
