Job Description

The role is purely a direct sales position focusing on the following product suites: Business Internet LTE, Wireless, Wireless Air and Fibre to business clients and expanding market acceptance of the Vodacom brand thus enhancing the overall companies sales output and taking full accountability to assigned monthly targets as set put by the Regional Team Leader. To increase new sales via new business generation, thus increasing the companies new business solutions and technologies to market. The position focuses on aggressive direct Business Internet Sales and achieving defined Targets. Project may change as per client request from time to time.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

? Minimum Matric

? Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

? Familiarity of VPP(Siebel) desired

THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE

? Demonstrated skills and proven experience in Sales and Business Sales

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE

? Minimum 3 Years proven sales experience

? Minimum 3 years sales experience within Telecoms or related industry

? 3 years preferred experience with a competing ISP

? A proven successful sales record

? Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

? Skills in problem solving

? Analytical thinking/skills required

? Excellent with Excel and PowerPoint Reports

? Ability to act independently on routine assignments or projects

? Ability to plan, organize and multi-task to complete assignments in an efficient manner

? Ability to communicate professionally, both oral and written

? Ability to pay attention to details and perform at a high-level accuracy

? Ability to work independently and with a team

? Understands the Client corporate culture and vision

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

? Valid Driver's license Must be able to work closely with Regional Partners/Management Team to achieve objectives

? All vehicles must comply with local and national regulatory requirements

? Vehicles must, at all times, comply with all license and applicable permit requirements

? Vehicles must be serviced and maintained as per manufacturers recommendations to ensure these remain fit-for-purpose and kept in safe working order as per local legislation and roadworthy requirements

? All inspection and service records must be maintained as per local legal administrative requirements

? Must be able to work in a door-to-door sales environment as required by the client

? Must be able to work closely with Regional Partners/Management Team to achieve objectives
