Job Description


Key Responsibilities:Sales Generation:

  • Actively prospect and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry events.
  • Identify and qualify potential customers in need of renewable energy storage systems.
  • Develop and deliver tailored sales pitches to customers based on their specific needs and energy goals.
Product Knowledge:
  • Maintain a strong understanding of renewable energy products and solutions to effectively explain their benefits, features, and advantages to customers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, government incentives, and policy changes related to renewable energy.
Customer Engagement:
  • Meet with potential clients in-person or virtually to assess their needs and provide appropriate energy solutions.
  • Provide expert advice to help customers make informed decisions about renewable energy systems, including financial incentives, installation processes, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Sales Closing:
  • Negotiate and close sales deals to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare sales contracts, pricing proposals, and other relevant documents to formalize agreements.
  • Handle objections and provide solutions to overcome customer hesitations, ensuring successful deal closure.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and lead statuses in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to the sales manager, outlining performance, leads, and conversions.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in direct sales or business-to-consumer (B2C) sales in the renewable energy or technology sectors.
  • Prior experience selling solar energy systems, energy storage, or other renewable energy products is highly desirable.
  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in business, renewable energy, environmental studies, or a related field is a plus.
  • Certification or training in renewable energy technologies or sales techniques is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
