Summary

International Trimmings and Labels (ITL) is looking for a motivated and reliable Digital Print Operator to join our fast-paced production team in the Paper Sheet Department. This role involves operating digital print machinery with precision and efficiency to produce high-quality garment and home textile packaging items, while maintaining strict quality standards and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate digital printing presses according to job specifications, ensuring all machine settings are correct and optimised. Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimise downtime and ensure optimal machine performance. Manage multiple print jobs effectively, prioritise workflow, and meet tight production deadlines. Perform regular quality checks during production to ensure print consistency, accuracy and efficiency. Accurately record production data, including job details, material usage, and any issues encountered during printing. Collaborate with the entire production team to improve workflow efficiency and output quality. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe and compliant working environment.

Skills & Experience

Minimum of Grade 12 matric or equivalent, preferably with math's 2 - 3 years' operational experience in a similar position will be an additional benefit Communicates well with good written and verbal skills, fluent in English Strong computer and analytical skills Positive, don't quit attitude with a willingness to learn and do self-study where required Highly motivated, loyal and committed Must be target driven Must be able to work under pressure Must be able to follow instructions Reliable, focused and accurate Will be required to work day-and-night shifts Will be required to work overtime based on department performance and requirements Will be required to operate multiple print machines

Pay: R6149,00 - R8251,00 per month
