PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To develop & execute on the Digital Marketing strategy that endeavors to position PEP Africa as the retailer of choice in each market in which we operate, by ensuring that all digital assets are appropriately utilised to deliver value to both the customer & the business; by communicating appropriately & accurately to our customers across all digital channels as well as analysing and reporting of all digital insights across all platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
? Contribute to the development of the digital strategy, ensuring that it is aligned to the overall marketing & business strategy
? Develop a detailed annual digital marketing plan
? Communicating & coordinating with both internal & external teams to deliver solutions
Measurements & Insights
? Utilising digital resources at disposal, to source customer research & insights as part of the Marketing Research & Insights plan
? Develop & own the measurement framework that seeks to provide an overview of the performance of all digital channels
? Track/monitor & benchmark the performance of all available digital channels such as the website, social media platforms etc.
Digital Marketing Planning & Execution
? Responsible for the on-time delivery of all digital marketing campaigns, activities & initiatives
? Identifying opportunities & efficiencies within the business & continuously improving efficiencies of marketing processes & managing the internal execution thereof
? Develop media strategy that is aligned to the overall marketing strategy, together with both internal & external agency partners
? Manage digital creative executions, ensuring alignment to brand CI & Proposition
? Continuously improve the performance of our websites & social platforms by working with external partners to optimize performance, ensuring freshness of content.
Internal Marketing Support
? Assist in the coordination and execution of all corporate company website development needs
? Assist in coordinating and executing any and all adhoc digital requests
? Support leader with execution of any and all ad hoc digital requests from the business within various departments
Ad-hoc / Projects
? Participate and execute special projects as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
? Qualification in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, communications or similar
? 3+ years' experience in Digital Marketing
? Experience working with Google and Facebook Analytics & Data Studio
? Proven ability to analyze, interpret and present digital data
? In-depth Facebook, Instagram,YouTube and Google understanding
? Knowledge of strategic social media & online best practices(Organic & Paid media space) ? Retail industry experience will be advantageous
? Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written)
? Computer Literacy (G Suite): Intermediate
? Willingness to travel to Africa
? South African Citizen
