The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development, execution, and continuous optimisation of the digital marketing strategy to support business objectives. This role has full accountability for the performance of the public-facing website, digital campaigns, lead generation, and digital brand presence.
The successful candidate will also manage a digital marketing team, oversee agency and vendor relationships, and ensure alignment between digital platforms, customer journeys, and broader business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Digital Performance
Develop and implement an end-to-end digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
Ensure the public-facing website aligns with strategic goals, including managing major launches and future development phases
Drive SEO, SEM, display advertising, paid and organic social media initiatives
Identify customer insights and industry trends to enhance digital offerings
Website, UX & Lead Generation
Own website optimisation to improve performance, lead quality, and conversion rates
Conceptualise and implement campaign landing pages
Drive ongoing and ad-hoc lead generation initiatives
Provide strategic input on UX, client journeys, and conversion optimisation across public-facing and transactional platforms
Maintain oversight of consent management, tracking, and CRM integrations to ensure data accuracy and compliance
Digital Projects & Governance
Lead delivery of public-facing digital projects
Own marketing-related IT change control processes
Maintain and evolve CI standards and ensure consistent application across all digital platforms
Oversee the group communications module and manage the digital development roadmap
Advertising, Reporting & Reputation Management
Oversee digital advertising and manage agency relationships
Compile and present monthly traditional and digital marketing performance reports
Manage online reputation and community engagement across social platforms
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Line manage and develop the digital marketing team
Own UX vendor relationships
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance and IT teams
Minimum Requirements
Completed BCom or BBusSci in Marketing Management (or equivalent)
7-10 years' relevant digital marketing experience (industry agnostic)
Financial Services Provider (FSP) experience is not required.
