Job Summary Role: Diesel Mechanic - Trade Test - Red Seal

Experience & Qualification:

Matric
Trade Test - Red Seal
Code 14 Drivers licence
Own Vehicle
Min 5 years working experience with yellow plant
Inspects and repairs yellow plant and vehicles with diesel engines
Handles routine repairs, including oil and tire changes
Interprets diagnostic test results accurately
Writes detailed inspection reports and repair plans
Advises management on repair options and costs
Completes test drives to make sure the yellow plant and vehicle runs correctly
Uses power, machine, and hand tools safely
Follows all yellow plant and motor vehicle repair shop regulations and standards
Electronics experience will be an advantages
At least 5 years experience as a diesel mechanic in a
logistics company (MAN and Mercedes Benz experience, yellow plant will be an advantage)
Work under extreme pressure
Planning Skills
Completing of job cards experience
Must be willing to work long hours
Good housekeeping management
