Job Description
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and servicing of commercial trailers and transport solutions, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join their team. Minimum requirements:
- Trade Test: Diesel Mechanic
- Driver's license
- Own vehicle
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
- Proficient in MS Office
Diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Transmission, brake, and drivetrain servicing
Use of diagnostic tools and software
Welding and basic fabrication (advantageous)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good communication and teamwork
Attention to detail and safety compliance
Accurate record-keeping and job card handling
Physically fit and OHS compliant
