Job Description
Are you a creative Designer (Mens or Ladies) with a good eye for commercial Apparel product, with considerable experience and expertise and up to date with global trends? Join this sought-after team and utilise your experience.
Responsibilities
- Designing ranges for the Fashion Chains.
- Ability to communicate with the Buyers by providing new and exciting ideas on an ongoing basis.
- Working closely with the Sample Room to issue styles ensuring to give the consumer the trendiest product for the season.
- Providing an effective day-to-day service to the business with a particular emphasis on submitting samples for fit and seal approval, sourcing trims both locally and internationally.
- Meeting the critical path deadlines to ensure the efficient sample development.
Qualifications: A relevant Design Degree/Diploma.
Experience: 5+ years of design experience in a similar fashion retail or creative manufacturing environment.
Additional: xe2x80xa2 Design skills with experience in InDesign and Photoshop, as well as CAD skills with strong strength in product. Position located in Cape Town.
