An established, large Retail Company is looking for a Store Designer for their fashion Outlets

Position based in Cape Town
Role: Store Designer

With over 700 stores, renowned aspirational brands and world class systems we are regarded as front-runners in this highly competitive environment The successful applicant will be responsible for translating a design brief accurately. Preparing sketch design proposals for approval and progressing these to full construction drawing packages including all layer drawings and details, on time and accurately in order to meet the store design development program.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare full package Leasehold drawings
Liaising with the appointed Shop-fitters and Landlords as well as internal business parties (e.g. Contracts; Visual Display; Properties; Merchandisers and Divisional Heads)
Prepare Council Submission drawings in line with local authority requirements
Qualifications and Experience Tertiary education and experience
Either Architecture or Interior Design; to be AutoCAD proficient
Have fashion retail store design experience

Experience:
5 to 10 years AutoCAD and drawing office experience.
Additional experience that would be beneficial: Sketch-up, Photo-shop, 3D Studio
Additional competency requirements: Proficient in AutoCAD and computer literate (i.e. MS Office Suit)
Have an excellent grasp of space planning
Ability to pay particular attention to detail; is thorough and works accurately
Motivated, driven and has the ability to work well within a team-based environment
Has high energy levels and is willing to always go the extra mile
Open to learning and sharing and meets the Companyxe2x80x99s values on all levels
Hardworking, honest and reliable

Goal orientated & have high levels of energy and drive
Demonstrate a passion for retail store design
Display the ability to visualize spaces and be able to translate these into technical details and working drawings
