We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Mid-Weight Multimedia Designer to join the in-house Marketing & Content studio of a top manufacturing company in Cape Town's Northern Suburbs.

In your capacity as Multimedia Designer, you will work across a portfolio of super brands. The main objective of this role is to work with the team to produce a range of different creative collateral across various channels. You should be a skilled videographer with solid animation experience working in After Effects, Premiere Pro and related programmes.

Note: This is a hybrid role, in which the team is expected to be in-office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Working with marketing team to develop and produce a wide scope of marketing multimedia visuals, animations, and other related graphics for use on websites, video content, social media, presentations, documents, interactive displays, and exhibits
• Photography & video content capture
• Preparing artwork and media for final approval and distribution
• Performing detailed research & coming up with creative ideas and concepts as per the specifications
• Taking feedback from the team members and making changes accordingly
• Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
• Staying updated with the latest trends.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Multimedia Designer or a similar position in the Design industry
• Highly proficient in After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
• Proven photography and videography capabilities
• A portfolio of design content from past work experiences
• Ability to use photography & video equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Illustrate the ability to create visually appealing content
• Ability to take feedback and make necessary changes
• Exceptional listening skills
• Ability to prioritise the tasks efficiently
• A keen eye for details for accuracy
• A creative individual with the ability to think out of the box
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work for long hours if needed
• A detail-oriented individual with decision-making skills.
