A well known brand in the industry requires the above to play a pivotal role in optimizing all inventory management processes utilising the dear inventory system to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely availability of branded products on a national and international basis.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• A diploma or related qualification in supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Certification or training in dear inventory software is pref.
• Relevant experience having worked in an inventory analysis role within the FMCG industry is essential.
• Knowledge of DEAR Inventory software is essential for the role.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with FMCG supply chain dynamics, distribution, and logistics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Optimizing all inventory management processes utilising the dear inventory system to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely availability of branded products on a national and international basis.
• Utilising dear inventory software to optimize stock levels, minimizing overstock and stockouts for FMCG products.
• Analysing demand patterns, seasonal variations, and market trends to fine-tune inventory parameters.
• Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for FMCG products.
• Generating inventory plans and ensuring alignment with sales projections and market demand.
• Placing and managing purchase orders based on inventory needs, lead times, and supplier performance.
• Monitoring order fulfilment and addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Conducting regular analysis of inventory data using dear inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
• Generating comprehensive reports on inventory performance, turnover rates, and stock ageing.
• Collaborating with it and systems teams to ensure seamless integration of dear inventory software with other business systems.
• Providing recommendations for system enhancements to improve overall efficiency.
