Reporting to: Head of Managed Fleets
Location: Sandton, Johannesburg. Onsite
Work Hours: 7:20 AM - 4:20 PM Monday - Friday and Alternate Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

We are looking for a Data & Reporting Analyst to;

• Run daily reports and processes
• Call out key issues and concerns shown by the data
• Investigative Analyses
• Analysis and Insights: Translate raw data into actionable recommendations and strategic insights that contribute to the overall success of the organization. Create and maintain data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to communicate complex data findings effectively. Collaborate with departments to provide actionable insights, monitor KPIs, and drive data-informed decision-making.

Data Transformation: Lead data transformation initiatives. Collaborate with IT for efficient data handling.

Predictive Analysis: Build predictive and advisory models. Forecast demand and optimize resources.

Continuous Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies. Implement data-driven solutions.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including teams with varying levels of data literacy. Act as an educator and upskilling resource, patiently providing guidance and support in data interpretation. Provision tools, insights, and forecasts to enable data-informed decision-making across the organization.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Background in logistics/ fleet management may be useful but not needed
• Experience in tech/analytics focused companies highly desired.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, python or other similar data analysis tools
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to extract insights from data and make data-driven decisions.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to convey findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues from different departments..
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
• Strong data analysis skills, particularly within Excel, for handling and interpreting large datasets.
• A foundational understanding of Python or similar for tasks like data extraction, basic data manipulation, and automation.
• Data Visualization Tools: Familiarity with Excel add-ins or other data visualization tools (e.g.,
• Power BI/Tableau) for creating impactful reports and dashboards.
• Database Querying: Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to write simple queries for data retrieval and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify optimization opportunities within logistics processes.. Open and curious to new solutions
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including data cleaning, data transformation, data visualization.
