Job Description
Our client has an opportunity available for a Data Insights and Analytics Lead to be based in the Parktown area.
Requirements:
- The following degrees would be preferred for the role
o Bachelor's degree in Data Science
o Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics
o Bachelor's degree with Mathematics and/or Applied Mathematics
o Bachelor's degree in Engineering
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science * At least 5 years' experience in a position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data
- At least 3 years' experience leading a team.
- Minimum experience of 5 years working with BI tools
- Must have experience in data science, statistical analytics and experience in understanding the business requirements and customer journey
- Build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- Design and build technical processes to address business issues
- Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
- Recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level team members
