Duties:

• Lead the development of secure, scalable, high-performing data pipelines and architecture.
• Guide your team in implementing best practices for governance, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Drive the creation of dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that support strategic decisions.
• Optimize workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BSC / IT Degree

Experience:

• 7+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI roles.
• Strong experience building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines.
• Hands-on SQL skills and expertise in database systems (Microsoft BI stack or equivalent).
• Leadership experience in technical teams or senior development roles.
• Knowledge of cloud-based data systems and orchestration tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills across technical and non-technical teams

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven ability to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and architectures using modern tools and technologies.
• Experience leading high-performing technical teams, setting coding standards, and driving engineering best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data challenges into practical, high-impact solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in dynamic, high-growth settings - able to manage multiple priorities and drive continuous improvement.
