Customer Services Officer - Durban

Hybrid

Salary : R12000 a month

Great customer service is at the heart of our ability to provide access to a reliable and customer-centric service to residents in and around communities in Durban.

With plans to roll out nationally, We are seeking a highly motivated, solutions-driven, dynamic, and

experienced Customer Service Officer to oversee the Customer Happiness experience

Experience and Skills:

  • Business or relevant tertiary education
  • Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in Customer Care
  • Computer Skills Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word &
  • Excel) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meets) to create documents and communicate
  • Demonstrable experience in writing / responding to
  • emails, preparing proposals.
  • Proficient in English, Zulu and/ or Xhosa.
  • Experience and willingness to work with and in the urban
informal settlements.

Desirable :
  • Technical Skills - An ability to grasp new technology
  • Relevant industry experience
  • CRM Advanced skills in using customer-relationship management (CRM) systems to
  • track sales processes, operations and performance.
  • Sales some experience and / or an understanding of business-to-customer sales or
  • customer-facing experience is a plus
  • Financial Skills Financial skills with the capacity to oversee customer payments.
  • Language - Fluency in English is a plus
  • Experience working in growth-stage, entrepreneurial, innovative businesses
  • Valid drivers licence

  • Strong Organiser You have strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Results-Oriented A positive attitude focused on successful delivery, whether rolling up your sleeves supporting operations in the field, or getting behind a desk and computer to contribute with ideas and provide solutions.
  • Resilient Self-Starter Were a small team and dont have all the answers, so you will collaboratively develop processes / systems that address existing gaps to help get the job done.
  • You can work independently and as part of a small and hybrid team based both in South Africa and overseas
