The group employs over 1,300 people with 15 sales offices in the UK, and the Republic of Ireland, plus European teams in France, Belgium and the Netherlands and internationally in Cape Town Hong Kong, China, India and the UAE.

We are looking for an ambitious and driven Customer Service Supervisor to join our dynamic, growing team in Cape Town! The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of Air and/or Sea Freight logistics and proven customer service supervisory skills.

Our office is based in Cape Town City Centre, you will be required to travel into the office Monday-Friday every week. The official working hours are 10am-6:30pm and 11am-7:30pm depending on the time of year. Please only apply for this vacancy if you can commit to this.

What you will be doing:



Team Leadership: Manage and coach a team of Customer Service Executives to achieve financial and retention goals. Service Excellence: Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to ensure best-in-class service delivery. Training & Development: Drive high performance through training, coaching, and regular 1-to-1 reviews. Operational Oversight: Ensure customers receive exceptional service, KPIs are met, and financial targets are achieved. Escalation Support: Act as a point of contact for resolving customer or stakeholder issues promptly and professionally. Performance Tracking: Generate and analyse service performance statistics for internal and external reviews. Client Retention: Drive retention rates, exceeding targets through proactive relationship management. Customer Engagement: Coordinate and conduct customer visits to strengthen relationships and explore growth opportunities. Team Collaboration: Ensure your team updates systems accurately and follows efficient processes to meet operational standards.

Our Ideal Person:



Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience in Air & Sea logistics is essential. Excellent organisational and time management skills. A proactive mindset focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
