The Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent individual to render financial, operational management and administration of facility bookings contributing towards the development and promotion of arts and cultural activities in the Western Cape.
Minimum RequirementsAn appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Arts.

Key Performance AreasFinancial, operational management and administration of facility bookings; Management of correspondence, enquiries and complaints; Provide administrative and technical support to the component; Management of basic research into best practice models into management of similar facilities and recording the findings; Give input into policies and frameworks related to the usage of the cultural facilities and facilitate the implementation thereof; Management of information (storage / filing); Collect, analyse, compile and update data of all bookings as well as revenue collection related to the seven cultural facilities.
CompetenciesKnowledge of the following: Project Management (application of the key principles).Skills needed: Proven computer literacy (MS Office); Written and verbal communication; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
RemunerationR 325 101 - R 382 959 per annum (Salary level 7)Note on remuneration in addition service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
