Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable

CTP Operator

to join our team in the print and packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, processing, and producing high-quality printing plates to support our production workflow.

Minimum Requirements

Matric Basic knowledge of CTP (Computer to Plate) Strong computer literacy Ability to work shifts, overtime, and weekends when required Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

DUTIES

-PLATEMAKING

Check proofs Check die lines Make plates and take to required machines Ensure all nightshift plates, and bags are at the required machines before going home

-JOB BAGS

Ensure each packaging job has a job bag Check that all pass sheets, proofs, die lines and samples are in the bag Update job bag list if new bag was created

-HOUSEKEEPING

Ensure CTP is clean at all times File and store job bags daily Ensure tracking on Ejobs after each job is plated Check chemicals on the processor on a daily basis Check background/density on plates every morning

-STOCK TAKE

Do stock take of CTP & DTP consumables every morning Check and sign for plates and consumables delivered

-HAND TOP

Learn to operate the Hand top and assist when necessary
