DUTIES:

• Responsible for daily Crush PNL
• Work closely with FX accountant to minimize foreign currency exposure
• Key stakeholder as a link between front office, back office and crushing facility
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations between the PNL and general ledger
• Provide feedback on any variances and key drivers for the months performance as part of monthly WD2 and WD4 reporting
• Provide analytical support to the Business Controller
• Managing and delivering key metrics to Business Controller (BC) with respect to PNL and GM transactions
• Provide BC with reviewed monthly general ledger with impact of journal postings
• Coordinate with BC to improve risk management infrastructure through detailed monthly review of control issues raised by internal/external audits and risk team
• Perform daily reconciliations between multiple systems and verify costs and positions
• Inventory reconciliations
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Payment review and approval

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience
• Relevant tertiary qualification (working towards and in progress studies are acceptable)
• Excellent communication skills (written, and verbal) in Afrikaans and English
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Team player and able to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment with deadline driven objectives
