Job Purpose

The organisation is currently seeking meticulous Data Capturers to assist in the digitisation and preparation of our loan and investment data dating back 20 years. This data is critical for our credit risk and investment rating tools and IFRS 9 implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Input and verify the accuracy of loan and investment data from various sources into the company's information system
• Ensure the data is correctly formatted and ready for use in credit risk and investment rating tools
• Assist in preparing data for IFRS 9 implementation
• Conduct ongoing audits to ensure the quality and integrity of the captured data
• Identify any discrepancies and rectify them promptly
• Work closely with the Data Management Supervisor to ensure that data is captured within the specified timeframes
• Assist in generating reports and providing insights based on the captured data as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in information systems, Finance, Business, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a data entry, data management, or similar role
• Familiarity with financial data, especially related to loans and investments, is strongly preferred
• Experience with credit risk and investment rating tools is a plus
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9) is an advantage
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Salary is between R132K and R300K per annum
