A well-established ICT company is looking for an experienced candidate to manage the smooth functioning of Late-Stage Collections and Outsourced Recoveries.
The primary purpose of this job is to reduce losses and maximize recoveries.
This role will be responsible for managing the team handling pre-legal and bad debt accounts and engage with a panel of external debt collections agencies.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead late-stage collections activities
• Reduce hand overs and minimize losses.
• Review legal age analysis and determine which accounts should be pursued internally, and which should be handed over to the attorneys.
• Agency and attorney feedback/reports must be accurately monitored and ensure that accounts are actively pursued.
• Monthly reports on collections totals must be compiled. Legal master file/tracker must be updated
• Reports on actions and challenges must be communicated to the head of department.
• Ensure record of all communication is kept in our database in a comprehensible way

• Matric
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
• 5+ years of proven experience in a managerial or comparable role in a collections environment
• Knowledge of Credit Risk fundamental principles and the application to collections and recoveries strategy
• Knowledge of POPIA and Consumer Protection Act
• Exposure within the ICT industry, an advantage
