NDC Personnel & Contractors, in collaboration with our esteemed FMCG partner in the Western Cape, is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Cost and Management Accountant to join our clientxe2x80x99s growing team!

This exciting opportunity calls for a professional with a minimum of a BCom degree specialising in Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting, or Financial Management. Accounting professionals with an Honours degree or a CIMA qualification in any of these fields will have a distinct advantage!

You should bring a minimum of 2 - 5 years of progressive financial experience to the table, with a preference for those whoxe2x80x99ve worked in a food manufacturing environment. Your most recent role should ideally be in the capacity of a xe2x80x9cCost & Management Accountantxe2x80x9d. Proven expertise in product costings, price negotiation, planning, and execution is crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office at an advanced level is a prerequisite, and experience with Syspro will be considered a significant advantage.

Youxe2x80x99ll lead and coordinate inventory control, conduct physical counts, investigate variances, and resolve issues on a daily/weekly basis; ensure compliance with all internal and external financial processes and implement good practice strategies; lead integrated financial management and cost management systems; and continuously refine and improve the CMS to enhance product and service quality.

Youxe2x80x99ll also drive fundamental performance improvements in the Financial, Cost Management, and Systems departments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement; track and report KPIs and other Profit Improvement Projects on a weekly and monthly basis to the senior team; play an integral role in half-year forecasts and yearly budgets, interacting with internal and external auditors; and ensure ERP system integrity is maintained.
