Qualifications and Experience:
Tertiary Education essential
Computer Literate (Excel & Word)
Experience in managing contracts
Financial Knowledge
Minimum 5 years experience in Industry Catering Industry
Drivers license Extensive Travel

Performance Standard:
Projects within the allocated Division achieve budgeted and/or expected profits
Project and Divisional expenses are in line with budgets and/or meet stipulated turnover/ expense ratio
Efficient and on-going control is exercised over menu costing, purchases, labour costs and appropriate and speedy action is taken to rectify identified problems

Efficient and on-going control is exercised over debt collection and appropriate and speedy action is taken to rectify identified problems

Efficient and on-going control is exercised over cash expenses and banking procedures
In liaison with the relevant Divisional Financial Manager and Operations Executive annual budgets prepared by the relevant subordinate manager are scrutinised and adjusted where indicated and submitted to the Chief Financial Officer on or before the stipulated deadline
Efficient stock control is exercised in the projects falling within the allocated Division and stock holdings are in accordance with Company standards
Meals provided meet agreed upon menu specifications in terms of content, quality and
quantity
Identified risks are addressed timeously
Cash purchases are monitored, overspending is identified and addressed
Projects falling within allocated Division purchase stock through Company appointed
preferred suppliers
Hygiene, food safety and quality standards are met within the allocated division and projects
Problems identified through the FCS audit are acted upon timeously
HR related policies and procedures are in place and complied with at all projects in the
allocated Division
Payroll schedules of projects in the allocated Division are accurate, signed off and employees are paid accurately and on time
New appointments at projects within the allocated Division meet the requirements of the job specification and preference is given in terms of Employment Equity goals
Performance is monitored and reviewed at the stipulated times at all projects in the allocated Division
Training and development needs are identified, planned for and implemented at all projects within the allocated Division
Discipline is maintained
Effective communication is practiced
Employees report harmonious relations
Employee contribution to business success is recognised through quarterly recognition process
Where applicable proactive contact with clients in the allocated Division is established and maintained
Client enquiries and queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
Premises, facilities and services are optimised to generate additional revenue and profits

Relevant events are diarised and attended in order to obtain leads for new business
Sites are branded and aesthetically appealing in accordance with Company standards
Business opportunities are recognised and leads are forwarded to the Sales department
Tender requests are assisted with and tender documents are forwarded to the relevant
department
Performance is monitored and reviewed at stipulated times
Training or development needs of direct reports are identified, planned for and implemented
Effective communication is practiced
Identified subordinates are mentored effectively for succession
Subordinates report harmonious relationships
Activities are planned annually and reviewed quarterly
Feedback is provided to the Operation Executive
