Responsibilities:

As a Communications Specialist you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brands Public Relations strategy and writing compelling content to our different audience segments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing public relations efforts to enhance our brands reputation and increase our reach within the industry.
• Developing and executing strategic PR campaigns that align with our brand values and objectives.
• Building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, influencers, and stakeholders to ensure extensive coverage and exposure.
• Identifying media opportunities and pitching story ideas to secure positive media coverage for our platform.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights and information needed to create informative and persuasive content.
• Conducting in-depth research on the public transport sector in South Africa and using this knowledge to create well-informed, relevant content.
• Contributing to the development of content strategies that incorporate eKasi pop culture trends and address the interests of our audience.
• Monitoring industry trends, news, and events related to both eKasi pop culture and the public transport sector to keep our content current and relevant.
• Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements:
