Job Description
Are you good at communicating with others and want to put your marketing skills to the test? Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Communications and Marketing Officer based in Durban.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communication or Marketing.
- 3+ years' experience in a content development or editing position for a business and conducting developmental language edits on technical material.
- Understanding of the Local Government Sector.
- Prover Proof of Record of publications.
- Assist with administration duties of the communications and marketing team.
- Assist the manager and the Strategic Support and Analytics Director with marketing and communication in managing campaigns across offline and online tactics.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in the various areas.
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through the appropriate channels.
- Provide support in the development of internal and external marketing campaigns.
- Assist in analyzing marketing and communication data to help shape future marketing strategies.
