Commissioning Manager / Technical Lead
Our client, an International Mining House, has an opportunity for an experienced and qualified Commissioning Manger to be based in Northern Cape.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Chemical and Metallurgy degree.
- 8yrs+ experience.
- Strong Minerals Processing background and knowledge.
- Hands on projects experience in the design, constructing and commissioning mineral processing plants. Concentrator and Iron Ore processing plants is a bonus.
- Understanding of Process Plant Control Elements:
- Control & Operating philosophy
- Control logics
- Functional specifications
- Control system architect
- Commissioning knowledge and execution thereof:
- Commissioning Management Plan
- Commissioning Execution Plan
- Commissioning Strategy Outline
- Hazop (Pre-commissioning Hazop).
- Previous experience in leading/managing/overseeing commissioning teams.
- Excellent understanding of mining environment and MHSA.
- Previously held a legal appointment.
- Strong Safety focus with knowledge in Pre-Startup Safety Review Procedure (PSSR).
