What You Will Do

The Training Manager will facilitate training for the Kenvue Sales & Marketing organization as well as external partners, as required by the organization. The Training Manager's major responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific training on product, category, and competitor set & be seen as the scientific expert for our brands and categories, within the commercial environment.
  • Work closely with Medical Affairs to make a tangible impact on overall company scientific knowledge & understanding, thereby raising the level of expertise across the organisation.
  • Develop & lead educational webinars aligned to annual business priorities, supporting NPD, new claims, new disease area entry & base business.
  • Align closely with Field Team Managers, Marketing, and partners (internal and external) to conduct learning needs assessments to ensure training design will deliver encouraged outcomes.
  • Lead support on customer trainings, customer conferences & scientific conferences
  • Identify and connect with potential conference speakers to leverage at external/ customer events as well as internal events.
  • Maintain ongoing engagement with key KOL's within focus areas.
  • Collaborating with peers, Sales Leadership, Brand, Regulatory, and other partners to craft and deploy targeted programs that meet all learning needs and improve the job application.
  • Apply knowledge of adult learning principles, facilitation skills, and innovative learning solutions to implement outstanding training programs.
  • Develop, improve, and deliver new hire training programs consisting of pre-work, class work, and post-class follow-up activities (assessing application of learning)
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of potential learning gaps by conducting field visits and coordinating with Sales Leadership on special projects.
  • Remain current on the healthcare environment, the marketplace, and access changes and maintain clinical, product, and selling skills expertise.
  • Drive an ongoing conversation loop between the business and regulatory, creating awareness of potential changes in market dynamics to leverage in our field and marketing activities.
  • With Medical Affairs, support the field teams with objection handling & seizing marketing opportunities as they arise.
  • Develop a sustainable HCP student training & engagement programme for Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy & Dermatology fraternities, thereby seeding future growth for the business.
  • Work with Government & Medical Affairs to develop a long-term strategy to reach Public Sector HCP's with our disease area and product training.
In addition to the above, their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

Content Development, Adaptation, and Delivery:
  • Applies innovative ways to craft, update, and improve learning content that enhances the learning experience and on-the-job application.
  • Applies effective facilitation skills to deliver learning programs that improve impact.
  • Develops training content for field force and external partners, to support pivotal initiatives that enhance individuals' knowledge and performance.
  • Presents and facilitates training at national field team meetings, coordinating efforts, materials, and participants while increasing engagement and successfully enhancing field learning.
  • Leads regular learning sessions to increase the field force's understanding of clinical, product, marketplace, and market access knowledge, as well as healthcare environment and competitor trends.
  • Ensures training content and materials and it's facilitation fully align with regulatory and Company guidelines and is approved through all appropriate channels.
Project Management & Agility:
  • Partners across the business unit to drive communication, identify mutually beneficial needs, and leverage information and resources.
  • Facilitates progress toward goals to enhance the development, delivery, and effectiveness of learning programs.
  • Seeks to understand business objectives, strategies, and operational procedures to meet business and learning goals effectively.
  • Leads contending priorities and stays agile in changes to project timelines, needs assessments, or compliance constraints.
  • Partners with vendors to coordinate the development of new training content. Collaborates with peers to ensure consistency, leverage resources, and share standard processes.
  • Collaborates with the field force management team to identify training needs and ensure training content aligns.
Clinical & Marketplace Expertise:
  • Remains current on product knowledge, marketplace conditions, and Healthcare practices to ensure effective training delivery
  • Understands the changing healthcare ecosystem and adapts to address changes.
  • Develops clinical fluency in all assigned disease states to equip learners to engage partners in relevant, results-focused conversations.
  • Demonstrates selling skills to understand and meet the customer's needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's a plus
  • 3 years of Healthcare Experience
  • 2 years of Sales Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to travel as needed
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience as detailing representative, or similar status
  • 4 years prior sales experience with 3 years in Professional Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Sales
  • Adult Training Facilitation Experience
  • Project Team Member Experience
  • Proficiency in written and oral communication that achieves Organizational Alignment
