Role Context
Develop and administer functional plans and projects to support and enhance the overall effectiveness of the teams of both the VP Commercial and the Director of Projects and Programs.
Support the development of general administrative plans and processes to effectively meet complex information requests and determine complex trends, develop scenarios and forcasts to ensure smooth running of business activities and meet administrative needs in line with business needs, stakeholder requirements, Group guidelines and policies.
Key responsibilities

• Develop, administer and support the general administrative plans and processes for the Commerical VP and Director Projects and Programs
• Identify opportunities to enhance the processes of both the Commercial and Projects and Programs teams
• Work with staff members of the commercial team to prepare for the meetings e.g. analysis of external and market data and preparing presentations for meetings
• Support coordination for meetings for the commercial VP
• Use best practices, address recurring issues and suggest enhancements in administrative support processes and systems to increase effectiveness and efficiency
• Record minutes of Commercial team meetings and track action items
• Attend Country Sales Reviews of the largest SSA countries with the VP Commercial and manage/follow up minutes for all CSRs in line with expectations from the action items
• Keep the VP Commercial up to date with trends of business drivers impacting financial performance (weekly volumes, costs drivers) and challenges noted by the team
• Understand and challenge the Countries on internal trends changes affecting performance
• Business Intelligence
• Co-ordinate the business intelligence function that works cross-functionally in order to provide insights and recommendations to the business to support decision-making
• Event Management
• Prepare VP's external & internal presentations for conferences, functional meetings, SSA business reviews with Global Management Board: storyboarding, designs, presentation supports.
• Liaise with SSA Marcomms team when external agencies are involved
• Prepare VP for effective delivery of presentations

Minimum Requirements
Education & experience

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• Advanced PowerPoint/Excel
• Familiarity with the DHL Express organisation is a distinct plus
• Min 4 years' experience.
• Experience in a similar capacity would be preferred.
