Commercial Analyst Internship

Principal Accountabilities

• Assist Senior Commercial Analysts with all commercial related activities including but not limited to reporting, budgeting, forecasting
• Analyse financial information to ensure that information is accurate, investigate anomalies and provide explanations on variances that have occurred against budget
• Have working knowledge of SAP
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
• Be able to present a topic to various audiences within finance and across other areas of the business
• Exposure to multiple departments: Accounts Payable & Receivable, Treasury, Royalties, Taxation, R2R and Commercial

Qualifications and Experience

• BCom Accounting, Finance degree. Studying towards CIMA qualification (advantageous)
• Computer literacy - Word, Excel (advanced), PowerPoint
• Sound communication and presentation skills
• Effective time management
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
• Ability to work in a team
• South African citizen
• Access to reliable transport
